Licensing & Commissions

License a photograph, or commission new work.

The photographs on this site are available to license for hotels, interiors, publications and brand projects. Where the portfolio doesn’t have the image, I make it. I’m based in New England and travel for projects.

What you can license

Any of the 27 frames under Work. Each has a reference number, such as KM-0181, shown beneath it. Quote it when you get in touch.

  • Hotels and hospitality. Guest rooms, suites, lobbies, corridors, restaurants and spa areas.
  • Interiors and art consultancy. Residential, office and healthcare projects. Framed pieces, canvas, murals and printed wall panels.
  • Publishing. Books, magazines, travel guides and editorial websites.
  • Marketing. Brochures, websites, presentations and social media.

A licence covers a defined use: where the image appears, the number of placements or copies, the territory and the term. Fees are quoted per project on those terms. Licences are non-exclusive. Exclusive use for a set term can be arranged.

Some frames show identifiable people, vehicles or trademarks, including Morning Alms and the Ferrari frames. Those are licensed for décor and editorial use only.

How files are delivered

  • Files are sent by private download link once the licence is agreed.
  • Each file is prepared for its use: sized and sharpened for large-format print, set up for press, or exported for screen.
  • Print files are 16-bit TIFF. Screen files are high-quality JPEG.
  • The licence is issued in writing with the invoice.
  • For hotels and interiors projects, I can supply finished, ready-to-hang prints instead of files.

Commissioned work

If the image doesn’t exist, I’ll make it.

Commissions suit work that needs a specific place: a hotel’s own surroundings for its rooms, a property and its landscape, a region for a tourism brand, a building for an architect or design studio.

I’m based in New England and travel anywhere. You deal with me directly, from the brief to delivery.

  1. You send the brief: location, subject, intended use and timeline.
  2. I reply with a proposal covering approach, schedule, fee, travel and licence.
  3. I shoot, edit and deliver a selection.
  4. You choose the final frames. Files and licence follow.

Commissioned images are licensed on the same terms as the portfolio. Exclusivity and any wider rights are set in the proposal.

Start a project

Send three things: the frame references or a description of what you need, where the images will be used, and your timeline. I reply personally.
